Friends like Family
There is something very bonding about shared difficult circumstances, and good friends can really become more like family. That describes much of the atmosphere at Trinity School of Medicine. The last two terms have brought more spouses and families, so it has been really fun to meet new people and create wonderful friendships. Since Luke and I don't have children of our own yet, we've basically become honorary "Uncle" and "Aunt" to all of our friends' children. On Valentine's Day we were able to celebrate our friend's daughter's first birthday! They did a wonderful job decorating and planning her party, and it was such a fun time spent with friends.
